JOHN F. KENNEDY HEIGHTS II (“JFK II”)
BOILER REPLACEMENT
NORWICH, CONNECTICUT
The Norwich Housing Authority (“Authority”) will receive sealed bids from contractors for the Boiler Replacement Project at John F. Kennedy Heights II (“JFK II”) – 27 Sullivan Drive, Norwich, CT, 06360. The scope includes removal of the existing boilers, installation of new energy efficient heating/hot water gas combi boilers and thermostats, replacement of some baseboard copper fin tube radiation and covers.
This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Urban Development (HUD) and the City of Norwich Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, FY24 ($225,000) and FY25 ($203,476), in partnership with the Norwich Housing Authority.
Starting Monday, March 30, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., Bid Documents including Plans & Specifications can be reviewed and/or purchased at the Public Jobs Plan Room of Advanced Reprographics, 50 Corporate Drive, Plainville, CT 06062; www.advancedplanroom.com or by calling 860-410-1020.
A pre-bid conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Interested bidders will meet at John F. Kennedy Heights II (“JFK II”) – 27 Sullivan Drive, Norwich, CT. Any bidder not in attendance at this meeting will be held responsible for understanding the extent of the work and the contract requirements.
Bids will be received at the main office of the Authority, 10 Westwood Park, Norwich CT 06360 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, and publicly opened. Bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid bond. Winning bidder will be required to submit a 100% payment bond and 100% performance bond. This project is subject to State and Federal Law, including Davis-Bacon Wage requirements.
