NOTICE TO BIDDERS
(LEGAL NOTICE)
The Tippecanoe County Drainage Board, of the State of Indiana, will receive sealed bids for the following project:
LOWER ELLIOTT REGULATED DRAIN TWO-STAGE DITCH: REACH 3A: LOCATED IN SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 4 WEST, WEA TOWNSHIP, TIPPECANOE COUNTY, INDIANA.
THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF MODIFYING THE OPEN CHANNEL ON LOWER ELLIOTT DITCH REGULATED DRAIN FROM ROSS RD DOWNSTREAM APPROXIMATELY 1,250 FEET TO ITS UPSTREAM CROSSING WITH BRADY LN. A TWO-STAGE DITCH WILL BE INSTALLED TO WIDEN THE CHANNEL. CHANNEL BANKS WILL BE LAID BACK AND STABILIZED WITH SEED AND EROSION CONTROL BLANKET. STORM SEWER OUTLETS ALONG THE CHANNEL WILL BE MODIFIED TO GRADE AND ARMORED. A 431-FOOT-LONG RETAINING WALL WILL BE INSTALLED IMMEDIATELY SOUTH OF THE IVY TECH PARKING LOT TO PROTECT THE STEEP BANK.
until the hour of 9:30 A.M. on the 6th Day of May, 2026 at the office of the Tippecanoe County Surveyor, in the Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 North Third Street, Lafayette, Indiana, after which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Tippecanoe Room in a meeting of the Tippecanoe County Drainage Board at 10:00 A.M. on the 6th Day of May, 2026. More detailed bid requirement information is included in the "Notice to Bidders - Specification Copy" which is a part of the Bid Documents.
Bid Documents may be requested electronically by emailing apeterson@cbbel-in.com. Alternatively, the bid documents can be examined at the following location: The office of the Tippecanoe County Surveyor, Tippecanoe County Office Building, 20 North Third Street, Lafayette, Indiana. Documents will be made available on or about the 1st Day of April 2026.
Each proposal shall be in a sealed envelope directed to the Tippecanoe County Drainage Board, State of Indiana, and plainly marked to indicate the title of the project and the name and address of the bidder and delivered to the office of the Tippecanoe County Surveyor.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive, to the extent permitted by law, any of the terms, conditions, or provisions contained in this Notice to Bidders or the Instructions to Bidders, or any informality, irregularity, or omission of any bid provided that such waiver shall, in the discretion of the Board, be to the advantage of Tippecanoe County.
