NOTICE INVITING CONTRACTORS TO PREQUALIFY FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT   Enterprise Elementary School District 1155 Mistletoe Lane Redding, CA 96002   Notice is hereby given that the Enterprise Elementary School District (“District”) invites licensed contractors to submit prequalification applications for an upcoming public works project.   Project Name: New Gymnasium and Classrooms Project Location: Lassen View Elementary School, 705 Loma Vista Drive, Redding, CA Project Description: The 16,600 SF project consists of the construction of a new multi-purpose facility housing a gymnasium, multi-user toilet rooms, snack bar, storage spaces, and eight standard classrooms with staircase and elevator.   Pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 20111.6, the District requires that prospective bidders submit a completed prequalification questionnaire and financial statement for evaluation prior to bidding on the Project.   Prequalification packages will be available beginning Wednesday, March 25, 2026, and may be obtained from PQBids at go.pqbids.com.   Completed pre-qualification applications must be received by PQBids no later than: April 14, 2026; 2:00 p.m. Contractors must hold a valid California Contractor’s License Class B at the time of submission and must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5.   The Project is a public works project and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Contractors and subcontractors performing work on the Project must comply with all applicable prevailing wage requirements pursuant to California Labor Code Sections 1720 through 1861. Only contractors who have been successfully prequalified by PQBids will be eligible to submit a bid when the Project is formally advertised.
