ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Directors, Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District, 2050 Reiser Ave. SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663 until 2:00 p.m., May 6, 2026, for the Charles Mill Maintenance Building project as set forth in Bidding Documents on file. At said time and place, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project work:
CHARLES MILL MAINTENANCE BUILDING PROJECT
Bidding Documents can be seen at the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD) Engineering Services office at 2050 Reiser Ave. SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663. Bidding Documents may be obtained at AA Blueprint, 2757 Gilchrist Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, 1-800-821-3700, or at www.aaplanroom.com upon payment of $225.00 (plus UPS shipping and handling, if required). Payment shall be made to AA Blueprint. Bidding Documents are not returnable for a refund.
Any questions regarding the project should be directed to Andrew Lallathin, AIA at SoL Harris/Day Architecture, no later than 1:00 p.m. on April 24, 2026, in writing by email to alallathin@solharrisday.com .
Any bidder interested in accessing the site to perform their own site investigations must call Eric Stechschulte, MWCD at (234) 801-7028 to arrange a date and time to access the site.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bids shall be subject to the condition that the right is reserved to hold bids for a period not longer than 60 days after date of opening and/ or to award at any time during the period.
State of Ohio Prevailing Wage Rates for Ashland County will be applicable to this project. Current prevailing wage rates are available at the Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance website (see link below). Registration is required to look up current wage rates by county.

The MWCD reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to increase, to decrease or omit any item or items and/ or to award to the lowest and most responsible, responsive bidder. The MWCD also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received.
