Notice of Consideration of the Exchange of Real Property by City of Ft. Walton Beach and Okaloosa County Notice is hereby provided that Okaloosa County, Florida owns a certain parcel of property consisting of approximately 2.4 +/- acres located at Hospital Drive NE, Ft. Walton Beach 32548 (the “County’s Property”). The County’s Property is on the west side of the former Ft. Walton Beach Hospital complex and identified as a portion of Parcel Id No.: Tax Parcel 13-2S-24-195B-000F-0010. The City of Ft. Walton Beach is the owner of a parcel of real property, consisting of approximately 1.85 +/- acres which is located at Lewis Turner Boulevard at the Rigdon Center. It is the southernmost portion of the property, south of the fire training center pad, as a portion of Parcel Id. No. 26-1S-24-0000-0001-0030 (the “City’s Parcel”). The County is considering exchanging its property for the parcel owned by the City, referenced above. The exchange of the property would be without any additional consideration. The fair market value of the parcels of property which are to be received by the County is greater or equal to the parcel which the County will be conveying. Further, the exchange of properties would allow for the County to expand the Rigdon Center and create additional amenities. This Notice shall be published for two consecutive weeks.
