AUGUSTA COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING   The Augusta County Planning Commission will convene for a staff briefing at 4:30 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in the Board Conference Room. The Planning Commission will conduct Public Hearings at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 14, 2026 in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia to consider the following:   1. A request to rezone from General Agriculture and General Business to Planned Unit Development approximately 60.593 acres [TMP 067B (3) 14, owned by Simpkins Samuel L. et. Al; TMPs 067B (3) 17, 067B (3) 17B, and 067B (3) 17C, owned by William K. Orr Trust ½ Lois G. Orr Trust] located southeast of the intersection of Tinkling Spring Road (Rte. 285) and Jefferson Highway (Rte. 250) in Fishersville in the Wayne Magisterial District. The Master Plan depicts connections to the proposed subdivision from First Street (Rte. 1301), Jefferson Highway, and Orr Drive (to be upgraded to a public roadway), and includes three (3) commercial outparcels.
