RECEIVER'S SALE OF REAL ESTATE
AT PUBLIC AUCTION
PURSUANT TO MASSACHUSETTS
GENERAL LAWS ch. 111 § 127I
By virtue of an Order of the Worcester Housing Court in Case No.
21H85CV000813, Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and vs. Annette Matthew-Burnett, which Order took effect December 2, 2015 appointing WORCESTER COMMUNITY HOUSING RESOURCES, INC. as the Receiver of real estate located at 12 Congress Street, Worcester, MA, said Order recorded at the Worcester District Registry of Deeds in Book 67704, Page 200, and the establishment of a lien in favor of the Receiver pursuant to M.G.L. ch. 111§127I on such property, recorded in Book 67767, Page 115, and for the purpose of satisfying such lien as to 12 Congress Street, Worcester, MA, said real estate will be sold at a public auction at1:00 P.M. on the 30th day of April, 2026, on the premises hereafter described in a deed, to wit:
The land with the buildings thereon and all the privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging situated said City of Worcester on the north side of Congress Steet, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner thereof on said Congress Street at a point two hundred and eighty (280) feet easterly for the easterly line of Newbury Street and running northerly one hundred and seven (107) feet to a passageway at a point two hundred and eighty (280) feet easterly from said easterly line of Newbury Street;
THENCE westerly by said passageway by a line parallel with the northerly line of Congress said passageway by a line parallel with the northerly line of Congress Street, sixty (60) feet;
THENCE southerly by a line parallel with that first described, one hundred and seven 107) feet to said Congress Street;
THENCE easterly by said street sixty (60) feet to the point of beginning.
Being part of the premises described in a deed from National Mortgage Association to Annette Matthew-Burnett dated the 25th day of November, 2008 and recorded with the Worcester Registry of Deeds at Book 43554, Page 114.
TERMS OF SALE: FIVE THOUSAND ($5,000.00) DOLLARS, as a deposit, on said property being sold, to be paid in cash, certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check, by the purchaser at the time and place of sale, balance within thirty (30) days after date of the sale at the office of WENDY M. MEAD, PC., 43 Harvard Street, Worcester, MA, Attorney for the Receiver. Said premises are to be sold as is and subject to unpaid taxes, tax sales, water charges and municipal liens and assessments, if any. Any other terms will be announced at the sale.
