NOTICE OF HEARING CONCERNING
THE ADOPTION OF FEE ADJUSTMENTS
REGARDING
THE TULARE COUNTY HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH, PUBLIC GUARDIAN, AND HEALTH OPERATIONS
DIVISIONS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026/2027
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Government Code Section 66018, the County of Tulare intends to hold a public hearing with respect to the adoption of fees for services provided by the Health & Human Services Agency: General Administration, Health Care Centers, Public Health Laboratory, as well as the Public Guardian, Animal Services, and Environmental Health Divisions.
The hearing is set for April 14, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. or soon thereafter, in the Tulare County Board Chambers located at 2800 W. Burrel, Visalia, California.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider oral and written presentations of any interested party with respect to the proposed increased and/or adjusted fees that would generate revenue to offset costs of services provided within the County Health & Human Services Agency General Administration, Health Care Centers, Public Health Laboratory, as well as the Public Guardian, Animal Services, and Environmental Health Divisions.
The proposed fees and the basis for proposals are set forth in a letter to the Board of Supervisors. The recommendations in the letter will be presented to the Board of Supervisors for adoption at the close of the aforementioned public hearing.
