OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF MARSHFIELD 2026 ASPHALT PAVEMENT PROJECTS The City of Marshfield, Wisconsin, will accept sealed bids for work and the furnishing of materials for the 2026 Asphalt Paving Program requirements of the City until 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Office of the Public Works Director, 207 West 6th Street, Marshfield, Wisconsin 54449. Said bids will be opened and publicly read immediately thereafter in the Public Conference Room in City Hall. Specifications and Proposal Forms may be obtained from the Office of the Public Works Director, 207 West 6th Street, Marshfield, Wisconsin 54449. No proposal will be considered unless each is presented under sealed cover and is accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond satisfactory to the Board of Public Works in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal and made out in the name of the City of Marshfield, Wisconsin as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and 100% performance bond within ten (10) days of the award of the bid. Upon the execution of the contract by the City, the check will be returned. This contract includes funding through the Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) for the 17th Street asphalt overlay project (Peach Avenue to Palmetto Avenue). The envelope in which the bid is sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation '2026 ASPHALT PAVING PROGRAM'. No proposal may be withdrawn by the bidder for a period of thirty (30) days following the day of bid opening, within which time the contract will be awarded by the Common Council. The City of Marshfield, Wisconsin, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, including, but not limited to, any or all bids which are not responsive, to waive informalities in the bidding procedure, and to award the contract to the bidder who, in the opinion of said City, will be most advantageous to said City.
