48 Neal Gate on Lot 2 and 3 LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SCITUATE PLANNING BOARD   In accordance with MGL Ch. 40 Section 15C, the Scenic Road Act, and MGL Chapter 87, Sec 3, Public Shade Trees, the Planning Board in conjunction with the Tree Warden will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:30 P.M. in the Select Board Hearing Room, Town Hall, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA. The subject of the hearing is the removal of approximately 6 shade trees in the public right of way for two proposed driveways at 48 Neal Gate on Lot 2 and 3. Trees to be removed include on Lot 2 a 3” Black Cherry, a 4” Red Maple and a 36” Black Oak and a 24” White Pine. Trees on Lot 3 to be removed include a 12” Black Cherry, 16” Tupelo and 36” Black Oak. Removal is proposed by applicant Faceoff Holdings, LLC. Brush under 3” may be anticipated to be removed. The parcel is identified on the Assessor’s Map as 57-1-10F. Plans are available for review in the Planning Board Office, Town Hall, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate during normal business hours.
