REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Request for qualifications will be received by the Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 East Worthey St., Gonzales, LA 70737 until April 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. (CT) for the following:
ADAPT – Ascension Drainage Assistance Program Team
STATEMENT OF WORK
The East Ascension Consolidated Gravity Drainage District #1 (EACGDD #1) / Ascension Parish Government (Parish) is soliciting qualification statements for a project that will involve design services to support the EACGDD #1 with design engineering, bid packages, specifications, permits, submittal reviews, approvals, as built drawings and close out documents. As outlined in the Scope of Services below (Section 1.3), the EACGDD #1 hereby requests qualifications from experienced and qualified firms to provide the needed services.
The successful consultant – Project Management Team (PMT) will be highly skilled and experienced project team comprised of seasoned well-rounded team members with related experience in the following areas discussed below. The PMT shall have the planning, design and construction management experience in civil projects (drainage, alternative park/detention facilities and watersheds) and vertical projects (pumping stations and levee systems). Services shall include all general leadership and management functions required of a PMT including but not limited to:
• Program Management
• Technical Engineering Support
• Public Outreach
• Procurement Support
• Construction Administration
• Grant & Funding Support
All questions regarding the RFQ shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via email at purchasing@apgov.us by 3:00 p.m. local time (CT) on April 14, 2026. Responses will be coordinated with the Project Coordinator and posted on the www.centralauctionhouse.com by 3:00 p.m. local time (CT) no later than April 21, 2026.
Firms/individuals who are interested in providing services requested under this RFQ must submit six (6) copies of the information specified in this section. The information shall be received in hard copy (printed) version by: Ascension Parish Government, Purchasing Department, 615 East Worthy Street, Gonzales, LA 70737 on or before 3:00 p.m. Central Time on the date specified in the Schedule of Events. Electronic submittals are permitted via http://www.centralauctionhouse.com; however (6) hard copies must still be submitted within 24 business hours of the proposal submission deadline (i.e. the Monday following the submission deadline since Parish buildings are closed on Fridays).
The Parish reserves the right to disqualify any bid, request for quotes, response to a request for qualifications, or request for proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject all proposals for just cause.
