SHERIFF’S SALE NOTICE
By virtue of a certified copy of a decree to me, directed from the Clerk of Morgan Superior Court #3 of Morgan County, Indiana, in Cause No. 55D03-2402-MF-000334, wherein Select Portfolio Servicing, Inc. was Plaintiff, and James Morris was the Defendant, requiring me to make the sum as provided for in said Decree, with interest and cost, I will expose at public sale to the highest bidder on May 11, 2026, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as is possible, at the Sheriff's Office at 160 N. Park Avenue, Martinsville, IN 46151 the fee simple of the whole body of Real Estate in Morgan County, Indiana.
Lot Number Twenty-Nine (29) in Old Port Royal Subdivision, Second Section, as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record No. 147, Page 230 of the Office of the Recorder of Morgan County, Indiana.
Except:
Part of Lot 29 in Old Port Royal Subdivision, Second Section, as per plat thereof recorded in Deed Record 147 Page 230, in the Office of the Recorder of Morgan County, Indiana, and being a parcel originally described by John J. Larrison, Indiana Professional Surveyor Number 20000230 (Holloway Engineering Job Number 118181), described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin with cap engraved "Holloway Engr.-Firm 46" which marks the Northwest corner of the above captioned Lot 29; thence North 89 degrees 53 minutes 16 seconds East (bearing of the North line of Lot 29, based upon Indiana State Plane, West Zone, Coordinate System - NAD 1983), with the North line of Lot 29, a distance of 27.84 feet to an iron pin with cap engraved "Holloway Engr.-Firm 46"; thence South 06 degrees 19 minutes 48 seconds East, 125.32 feet to a point on the West line of Lot 29; thence North 18 degrees 29 minutes 54 seconds West, with the West line of Lot 29, a distance of 131.28 feet to the point of beginning.
