LINDENWOLD BOROUGH JOINT LAND USE BOARD
NOTICE OF HEARING ON APPLICATION FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL MAJOR SITE PLAN APPROVAL AND VARIANCES
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Deterding's Market, Inc. ("Applicant") has applied to the Lindenwold Borough Joint Land Use Board ("JLUB") for preliminary and final major site plan approval and variances in connection with the property located at 506 East Gibbsboro Road, Lindenwold, New Jersey, which is also designated as Block 72, Lots 12, 15 & 16 on the Lindenwold Borough Tax Map. The subject property is situated in Lindenwold Borough's B-1 Business Zoning District and is presently improved with a supermarket, storage building and parking lot. The Applicant proposes to construct a 44' x 50' addition to the storage building. The following variances are specifically requested with this application: (1) sign setback from right-of-way – 20 feet required, 2.61 feet existing, 2.61 feet proposed; and (2) minimum buffer strip – 25 feet required, 14 feet existing, 14 feet proposed. The Applicant has also applied for any and all other variances, design exceptions, waivers, interpretations and other relief deemed necessary by the JLUB or its professional consultants.
This application has been scheduled for a hearing before the JLUB on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Lindenwold Borough Municipal Building, which is located at 15 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold, New Jersey. You may appear in person or by attorney to present any testimony or objections you may have regarding the application. Please note that the JLUB may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone or continue the hearing on this application from time to time. In this regard you are advised to make a diligent inquiry concerning any such adjournments, postponements or continuations with JLUB Secretary Kathleen Lynd, who may be contacted during regular business hours at (856) 783-2121 ext. 223 or by email to klynd@lindenwold.net.
