The bidder shall submit, with the proposal, a certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal to guarantee. The awarded bidder will enter into a contract and obtain the required bonds (performance, statutory bond & defect bond) in agreement with the requirements of the Solicitation. The check must be payable to the order of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. The bonds are a state requirement on all construction bids over $50,000.00. V. All contractors that desire to provide the OTA with manual service work are required by state statute to complete an employee E-Verify Form. VI. The work to be performed under ITB 2026-003 consists of: OTA is seeking bids from licensed responsive vendors for the removal and disposal of existing overhead truss and cantilever sign structures (specifications attached) for various locations along the Cherokee, Creek, and Will Rogers Turnpikes. The work includes the anticipated removal of four (4) structures on the Cherokee Turnpike, six (6) structures on the Creek Turnpike, and six (6) structures on the Will Rogers Turnpike. The awarded vendor will remove and dispose of the overhead truss and cantilever sign structures. VII. In awarding the contract, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to act for the best interest of the OTA without technicalities as to procedure. VIII. Policies of insurance will not be canceled without first giving the OTA 30 calendar days’ advance notice. This statement must be on the Description of Operations section of the Certificate of Insurance. IX. Upon award of contract to a successful bidder, the contract will be completely and correctly executed by the contractor and returned to the OTA within twenty (20) calendar days from date of award.
