LEGAL NOTICE   Town of Ashby Bids for Road Materials FY2026   The Select Board requests bids for the following: road materials for paving.   All materials must meet the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Highway Specifications Bid under Chapters 30 and 39M pursuant to the bidding laws, must comply with the Prevailing Wage Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 & 27, and required bidders must be pre-qualified in accordance with 720 CMR 5.00.   For Specifications and Bid Forms, contact the Town Hall – Barbara Thorpe 978-386-2424 x 123 or tabos@ashbyma.gov   Sealed bids will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. on April 23, 2026 at the Office of the Town Administrator, Lyman Building, 895 Main Street, Ashby, MA 01431 and will be open publicly   Bids shall be identified by clearly marking the outside of the bid envelope with the word ROAD MATERIALS, BID/ The Select Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and make awards in a manner deemed in the best interest of the Town.   SELECT BOARD TOWN OF ASHBY
