RESOLUTION [To Set a Public Hearing to Rezone Property Located Inside the Corporate Limits on the East Side of Redfield Road Immediately South of the Intersection of Cobbs Ford Road from B-2 (General Business District), FAR (Forest, Agriculture, Recreation District), and B-4 (Highway Commercial District) to PUD (Planned Unit Development District) (Owners: Jones Virginia Marie & Sharon Jones & Leslie J McAhren & Eugene T Jones c/o Jones Sharon) (Petitioner: Blake Rice, BSI).] WHEREAS, Blake Rice, BSI, is the petitioner for the property described in Attachment "A"; and WHEREAS, said property to be rezoned is located inside the Corporate Limits on the East side of Redfield Road, immediately South of the intersection of Cobbs Ford Road; and WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to rezone the approximately 136 +/- acre property from B-2, FAR, and B-4 to PUD; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the proposed rezoning was held by the City of Prattville Planning Commission on March 19, 2026; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did recommend the zoning of said property, as described in Attachment "A", be amended from B-2, FAR, and B-4 to PUD. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Prattville that a Public Hearing is set for May 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Prattville City Hall.
