PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Zoning Hearing Board of Chestnuthill Township will conduct Public Hearings at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building located at 271 Route 715 - Box 243, Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania 18322, on April 27, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. for hearing the following:
The Application of Sydney Jewell of 167 Old Stagecoach Road, Gilbert, PA 18331. Applicant appeals the Zoning Officer’s Enforcement Notice of January 27, 2026 alleging a violation of Zoning Ordinance Attachment 2 “Table of Permitted Uses.” The Notice alleged an unlawful conversion of a single-family detached dwelling into a two-family dwelling, not permitted in the low density residential zoning district (R-1). The Notice also alleged violation of Chapter 119 Zoning Attachment 3 “Table of Area, Setback in Building Requirements” regarding minimum lot area. The Notice alleges the two-family dwelling, in conjunction with four other principal uses exceeds the minimum lot area of two acres per use. The property in question is 167 Old Stagecoach Road, Monroe County PIN 02624700075947.
Any interested party may examine the plans and applications for these appeals during the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building on business days.
