REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SPECIALIZED MAINTENANCE SERVICES
The White Plains Housing Authority is requesting proposals for specialized Maintenance Services. The contract period for Specialized Maintenance Services is one year beginning June 1, 2026, with an optional second year.
Responsibilities include the routine restoration of vacated units, and cyclical painting of 270 federally subsidized public housing units and properties with all specific associated knowledge of local state and federal requirements. As well as, tile floor repair and renovation, carpentry repair. Experience working with Public Housing, including HUD REAC requirements, as well as HUD standards, rules and regulations.
Interested contractors are invited to submit their proposal including price to the attention of the Executive Director. Please provide prices to perform a routine restoration of vacant units, cyclical painting of 270 units federally subsidized public housing units of the White Plains Housing Authority. Also, provide prices for emergency maintenance coverage services as needed.
If you are interested, please submit your proposal to the White Plains Housing Authority no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, in a sealed envelope clearly marked RFP for Specialized Maintenance Services.
