CA-724 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (Proposed Rate Changes For Connection Fee)   Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County, Maryland, will hold a public hearing during its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 9:45, in the County Commissioners' meeting room, Room 1113, 100 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, for the purpose of considering the modification of connection fee rates for FY2027 pursuant to the Code of the Public Local Laws of Washington County, Maryland, Title 6 – Water, Sewer, and Drainage Systems, Section 6-308. The new charges, if adopted, shall be effective July 1, 2026. A proposed scheduled of the proposed rates and charges may be viewed on the County’s web site at www.washco-md.net. Anyone wishing to speak during the comment portion of the Public Hearing must pre-register using the form found on the County’s website: https://www.washco-md. net/county-commissioners/ bocc-agendas-and-minutes/public-hearing-sign-up-form/ no later than noon on Monday, April 27, 2026. Failing to pre-register accurately may result in a speaker not being permitted to speak. Speakers will be called in the order they pre-registered.
