QUAKERTOWN BOROUGH - HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Quakertown will consider the conditional use application of Quakertown Community School District, at a hearing to be held during Council’s regular public meeting on May 6, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., in Borough Hall, 35 North Third Street, Quakertown, PA. The subject property is located at 123 South 7th Street, also known as Tax Map Parcels Nos. 35-007-141 and 35-007-142, and is zoned HR High Density Residential. Applicant is seeking conditional use approval pursuant to Sections 308.4.B and 319.1.A of the Borough Zoning Ordinance. Section 308.4.B requires conditional use approval prior to a school use being established in the High-Density Residential district. Section 319.1.A Applicant is under proposing to demolish the building on the subject property, which requires conditional use approval because this building is listed in the Borough’s Historical Building Inventory. All interested parties are invited to attend and participate in this hearing.
