PUBLIC NOTICE Please take notice that Milestone Materials, a Division of Mathy Construction Co. has filed an application with the Marathon County Conservation, Planning, and Zoning Department for a Nonmetallic Mining Reclamation Permit located in NE ¼ of the NW ¼ except land described in Volume 492D-640, Volume 500D-542, and Volume 507D-502 Section 22, Township 27 North, Range 7 East, Village of Kronenwetter. Further described as having PIN# 145.2707.222.0999. This site has received a conditional use zoning permit approved and issued by the Village of Kronenwetter. The proposal is to establish a 21-acre nonmetallic mine on the above-mentioned property. Sand and gravel will be extracted from the 21 acre mine to a depth of approximately 50feet. Upon completion of mining activities, the mine site will be reclaimed to manmade lake or greenspace for recreation uses. Any person residing, owning property, or whose principal place of business is within 300 feet of the boundary of the parcel in which the expansion of the existing nonmetallic mining site is proposed, may request a public informational hearing pertaining to the reclamation of the proposed expansion of the existing nonmetallic mine site. Requests for a public informational hearing must be made within 30 days of the publication of this notice.
