ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TOWN OF CENTER OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI CENTER VALLEY ROAD RECONSTRUCTION General Notice Town of Center is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: CENTER VALLEY ROAD RECONSTRUCTION Project # 17721001 The Town of Center will receive and accept bids ONLY through QuestCDN.com via the online electronic bid service (Quest vBid) for the construction of Center Valley Road Reconstruction until 10:00 a.m., on May 8, 2026. All bids will be downloaded and publicly read aloud during a virtual public bid opening that will be held at the day and time of the bid closing. All plan holders will receive information via Quest on how to join the virtual meeting prior to the bid opening. The Project includes the following Work: Replacement of culvert and pulverization and overlay of the existing Center Valley Road (approximately 5,280 feet) between CTH A and Hample Road in the Town of Center in Outagamie County, Wisconsin. Work includes pulverizing and overlaying with asphalt and gravel shoulders. The project also includes approximately 1,400 feet of concrete curb and gutter. Driveways will be replaced within the right-of-way. Cross culverts, storm sewer, and driveway culverts will be replaced. The anticipated substantial completion date is September 18, 2026 and final completion date is October 2, 2026. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates.
