Town of Orchid Notice of Public Hearings The Town Council will hold a meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. or shortly thereafter, at 9301 Hwy A1A, Suite 201, FL 32963, to include adoption of a proposed millage rate for Fiscal Year 2026/2027 and to hold a public hearing on and consider for adoption the following: ORDINANCE NO. 2026-01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF ORCHID, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 22 – ELECTIONS; PROVIDING FOR LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS, AMENDMENT, CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, CONFLICT AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Public hearings may be continued from time to time. The agenda will be posted online at www.townoforchid.com. Copies and supporting documents are available at Town of Orchid's Town Hall located at 9301 Hwy A1A, Suite 201, Vero Beach, Florida 32963 weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (daily closure at noon for half an hour). Pursuant to the Charter, one or more Councilmembers may attend the meeting by teleconference. All interested parties may participate in the meeting. Persons who wish to appeal any decision made with respect to any matter considered at the meeting will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based.
