ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Cambridge Cambridge, Ohio GUE-MR347/348-00.00/00.00 General Notice City of Cambridge (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: GUE-MR347/348-00.00/00.00 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Administration Building located at 814 Wheeling Avenue, until May 15, 2026 at 10:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following work: The project includes removing and replacing existing sidewalk, drive aprons, curb, curb ramps, pavement markings, signing, and minor drainage improvements along the west side of South 11th Street from Woodlawn Ave. to Turner Ave. in the City of Cambridge. Bids are requested for the following Contract: GUE-MR347/348-00.00/00.00 Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $737,600.00. The Project has an expected duration of 180 calendar days. Funding for this project is not available until July 1, 2026. Therefore, a contract will not be executed nor can work begin until after this date. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office for the Bidding Documents is located at: City of Cambridge Administration Building 814 Wheeling Avenue Cambridge, Ohio 43725 Prospective Bidders may obtain the Bidding Documents at the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 am and 3 pm. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the City of Cambridge Engineers Office by paying a non-refundable $100.00 deposit for each set. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to the City of Cambridge. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the City of Cambridge Engineer’s Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Prequalification Only ODOT-prequalified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Prequalification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. For work types that ODOT does not prequalify, the LPA must still select a qualified contractor. Subcontractors are not subject to the prequalification requirement.
