INVITATION FOR BIDS Sealed proposals for Swatara Township 2026 Double Application Bituminous Seal Coat Project will be accepted online at PennBid until 12PM (noon), May 14, 2026 For: “Swatara Township’s 2026 Double Application Bituminous Seal Coat Project” Project to furnish and place approximately 56,694 SY of Double Application bituminous Seal Coat in accordance with PennDot Pub 447 on Greble Road – 1.85 miles, Shirksville Road - .88 mile and Pine Meadow Road – 1.46 miles. A project manual containing specifications and required documents are available through the PennBid electronic bidding system at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The successful bidder must supply to the Township within 20 days of the award of the contract a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and insurance documentation. Swatara Township will open bids electronically on May 14, 2026 at 3:30pm at 68 Supervisors Drive, Jonestown, PA 17038. The unofficial results will be displayed publicly on PennBid at that time. The Swatara Township Board of Supervisors will award the bid at its regularly scheduled monthly meeting held at the Township Building located at 68 Supervisors Drive, Jonestown, PA 17038 on May 14, 2026, which beings at 7pm. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Swatara Township in the amount of 10% of the bid total. The Township Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject any and / or all bids.
