ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for constructing the HALIFAX RIVER FORCE MAIN AND RECLAIMED WATER MAIN CROSSING, Bid No. 2026-18 for the City of Ormond Beach, Florida, will be received at the Office of the Purchasing Coordinator, City Hall, Ormond Beach, Florida, until June 17, 2026, at 4:00 pm at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Training Room located in the breezeway between City Hall and the Public Library. Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened.
The work consists of: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision and any other items required in order to provide a subaqueous horizontal directional drill pipe crossing of the Halifax River and a horizontal directional drill pipe installation along Beach Street from Tomoka Avenue to Lincoln Avenue. The project includes approximately 4,695 linear feet of 18" HDPE force main: 4,515 linear feet of 18" HDPE reclaimed water main; 1,280 linear feet of 16" PVC force main; 1,075 linear feet of 16" reclaimed water main; 3,500 linear feet of 6" HDPE IT conduit strapped to the 18" HDPE reclaimed water main; gate valves; air release valves/vaults; pavement replacement; sodding, restoration and appurtenances. The work is shown on the Drawings and specified in the Project Manual.

A pre-bid conference to discuss the details and requirements of the contract will be held on May 27, 2026, at 10:00 am in the Training Room at City Hall. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. The deadline for submitting questions is June 9, 2026, at 5:00 pm
