NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that pursuant to Montana Code Annotated Title 15, Chapter 6, Part 1, the Cascade County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at the Courthouse Annex, located at 325 Second Ave. N., Room 111, Great Falls, Montana, on the 12th day of May 2026, at 9:30 a.m. to consider an application as submitted by Janicki Industries. The application would provide potential tax abatements for the construction, qualifying improvements or modernization processes that represent new industry or expansion located at Great Falls AgriTech Park, Great Falls, Montana, Geocodes: Track 1: 02-3016-03-1-01-04-0000; Track 2: 02-3016-03-1-01-08-0000; Track 3: 02-3016-03-1-04-01-0000, which in the first five years after commencement of construction, qualifying improvements or modernization processes that represent new industry or expansion of an existing industry must be taxed at 25% or 50% of their taxable value. Subject to 1510-420, effective the year placed into service according to the following: January 1, 2027 through December 31st, 2027: $200,000,000; January 1st, 2028 through December 31st, 2028: $70,000,000; January 1st, 2029 through December 31st, 2029: $200,000,000; January 1st, 2030 through December 31st, 2032: $200,000,000 and each year thereafter, the percentage must be increased by equal percentage until the full taxable value is attained in the 10th year. In subsequent years, the property must be taxed at 100% of its taxable value.

Any interested person may appear and speak for or against this proposal at the public hearing or submit in writing any comments to the Board of County Commissioners Office, 325 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, MT, 59401.
