NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS – ZONING / DESIGN DISTRICT ORDINANCE   NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Eustis, Florida, will conduct two (2) public hearings to consider the adoption of an ordinance assigning a zoning designation to certain real property proposed for annexation into the City.   The public hearings will be held in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 10 North Grove Street, Eustis, Florida, at the following dates and times:   First Public Hearing (First Reading): May 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.   Second Public Hearing (Second Reading and Adoption): May 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.   ORDINANCE NUMBER 2026 08   AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF EUSTIS, LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ASSIGNING THE SUBURBAN CORRIDOR (SC) DESIGN DISTRICT ZONING CLASSIFICATION TO APPROXIMATELY 10 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY PROPOSED FOR ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF EUSTIS, IDENTIFIED BY ALTERNATE KEY NUMBER 1040141, GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE INTERSECTION OF COUNTY ROAD 44 AND COUNTY ROAD 44A.   PROPERTY DESCRIPTION The subject property consists of approximately 10 acres located in Lake County, Florida, proposed for annexation into the City of Eustis, and generally located on the east side of the intersection of County Road 44 and County Road 44A.   PUBLIC PARTICIPATION   Interested parties may appear at the public hearings and be heard.
