PUBLIC NOTICE  The North East Borough Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the North East Borough Chambers, 31 West Main Street, North East, PA 16428. The Zoning Board will hear the following variance requests:  Nathan Rizzo request a variance for the construction of a two-car attached garage at 78 West Main Street (Parcel No. 35001021002900) for side yard setback requirements. The proposed construction will extend to the eastern property line from the house, which does not meet the total required twenty-four (24) feet, minimum ten (10) feet on one side, per Section 406 – Lot & Yard Requirements Table of the North East Zoning Ordinance. The named parcel lies in an R-B Multiple Family Residential District with an R Classification under Erie County Government.  Anyone with an opinion either for or against this request may be heard.
