PUBLIC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
YORK TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
AND CONSIDERATION OF ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of York Township, York County, Pennsylvania, at its regular meeting to be held on May 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at 190 Oak Road, Dallastown, Pennsylvania, 17313, will conduct PUBLIC HEARINGS to consider and receive public comment on (1) an ordinance amending the York Township Zoning Map, specifically changing the zoning classification for the properties located on Powder Mill Road, being designated as York County Tax Parcel Nos. 54-000-20-0154.00-00000, 54-000-20-0159.00-00000, 54-000-20-0157.00-00000, 54-000-20-0158.00-00000, 54-000-20-0155.00-00000 and 54-000-20-0156.00-00000, from Commercial Office (CO) to Mixed Residential Commercial (MRC) and (2) an ordinance amending the York Township Zoning Map, specifically changing the zoning classification for the properties located on 495 Chapel Church Road, Dallastown, Pennsylvania, being York County Tax Parcel No. 54-000-HJ-0124.00-00000 zoned as Commercial Industrial (CI) and the parcel of land located at 2936 Cape Horn Road, Dallastown, Pennsylvania, being York County Tax Parcel No. 54-000-HJ-0119.00-M0002, from Commercial Shopping (CS), shall be rezoned to Residential Low Density (RL).
All interested persons may appear and be heard.
Furthermore, notice is hereby given that within sixty (60) days from May 5, 2026 and after the public hearings described above, the York Township Board of Commissioners may consider for passage at a public meeting of the Board, including but not limited to the May 12, 2026 meeting of the Board, the above-described zoning map amendments.
A copy of the above-described zoning map amendments may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge at the Township Office located at 190 Oak Road, Dallastown, Pennsylvania 17313, Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
