The Ogden City Council met in Special Session on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Margaret Liston presided. Members present were Councilman Aaron Crane, Councilman David Ohlson, Councilwoman Lori Anderson and Councilman Dennis Good. Absent: Councilman Brian Reimers. City staff present were City Administrator Emily Clausen and City Clerk Allison Frazier. There were no additional guests present. Ohlson made a motion, Good seconded to approve the agenda. Ayes: All Present, Motion Carried. Notice of Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2027 had no resident or taxpayer present to present any objections to, or arguments in favor of, any part of the proposed budget. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Ohlson to approve Resolution No. 202604-602 a resolution adopting the proposed city budget for FY2026/2027. Ayes: All Present, Motion Carried. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Crane to approve Resolution No. 202604-605 a resolution in support of Community and Attraction and Tourism application for submission to the Iowa Economic Development Authority for the Ogden Recreation Complex. Ayes: All Present, Motion Carried. Motion by Crane, seconded by Ohlson to approve the electrical supply quote from EMS Partners for the electrical poles and materials for the Ogden Recreation Complex. Ayes: All Present, Motion Carried. Motion by Anderson, seconded by Crane to adjourn at 5:13 p.m. Ayes: All Present, Motion Carried.
