PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible.
LOCATION: City Council Chambers, City Hall, 501 Poli Street, Ventura, CA 93001

PROJECT: 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and 2025 Water Shortage Event Contingency Plan
PURPOSE: City Council will conduct two public hearings pursuant to California Water Code sections 10642 and 10608.26. One hearing will be to consider and receive comments and input on the Draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan for the City of San Buenaventura. The second hearing will be to consider and receive comments and input on the Draft 2025 Water Shortage Event Contingency Plan for the City of San Buenaventura.
Copies of both documents will be available for public review on or before April 10, 2026, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours at City Clerk’s Office, Room 204, City Hall, 501 Poli Street, Ventura, CA. In addition, an electronic version of the Draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and the Draft 2025 Water Shortage Event Contingency Plan will be accessible at https://www.cityofventura.ca.gov/1081/Library-of-Reports.
Any written comments regarding either plan should be submitted by the close of business on May 5, 2026 to jtribo@cityofventura.ca.gov.
All interested persons are encouraged to participate and be heard with either attending at City Hall, or through the URL on the posted agenda.
