PUBLIC HEARING   Hampton County School District will have a public hearing regarding adoption of the District’s 2026-2027 General Fund Budget on June 2, 2026 at North District Middle School located at 507 Tillman Ave, Varnville, SC 29944 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The 2025-2026 unbalanced budget had total revenues of $31,084,909 and total expenditures of $32,421,295. The projected 2026-2027 unbalanced budget has total revenues of $33,087,935 and total expenditures of $36,201,265.81. The fund balance of $3,113,331 will be used to balance the budget. The estimated total budget percentage increase is 0.12%. Operational mills levied for the current fiscal year are 250.53. Estimated millage dollars are $15,797,587 for the 2026-2027 school year. There is a 5.59 millage increase proposal for FY 26-27.
