NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Malabar Board of Adjustment will hear BOA 01-2026 Variance Request at a Public Hearing to be held on Monday, June 1st, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at 2725 Malabar Road, Malabar, Florida. The Malabar Planning and Zoning Board will hear BOA 01-2026 Variance Request at a Public Hearing to be held on Wednesday May 27th, 2026, at 6:00 PM, at 2725 Malabar Road, Malabar, Florida to provide a recommendation to the Board of Adjustment. Applicants, Mr. Donald LaFontaine requests a variance of approximately 3 feet of the required side yard setback as required by the Malabar Land Development Code Article III, Table 1-3.3(A) Size and Dimension Regulations. The required side yard setback for the RS-10 zoning district is 10 feet. The applicant is requesting a variance to these requirements of the north side yard.
The area under request is located in Township 28, Range 37, Section 35, Lot 106 Aka: 1040 Steeplechase Circle Malabar FL 32950.
