RESOLUTION [To Set a Public Hearing to Rezone Property Located Inside the Corporate Limits at 326 Highway 82 Bypass East from B-1 (Neighborhood Business District) to B-2 (General Business District) (Owner: Terry Stanfield) (Petitioner: James C. Avery is the petitioner for the property described in Attachment "A"; and WHEREAS, said property to be rezoned is located inside the Corporate Limits at 326 Highway 82 Bypass East; and WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to rezone the approximately 2.35 +/- acre property from B-1 to B-2; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the proposed rezoning was held by the City of Prattville Planning Commission on April 16, 2026; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did recommend the zoning of said property, as described in Attachment "A", be amended from B-1 to B-2. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Prattville that a Public Hearing is set for June 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Prattville City Hall.
