NOTICE TO BIDDERS   Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received:   By: Perry Township Schools 6548 Orinoco Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46227   For: Perry Meridian High School Band Tower 401 West Meridian School Road Indianapolis, Indiana 46217   At: Perry Township Education Center 6548 Orinoco Avenue Indianapolis, IN 46227   Until: 11:00am (local time), 05/22/2026(date)   Bid Opening: Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:15 AM (local time), 05/22/2026 at Perry Township Education Center, 6548 Orinoco Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227.   Project Description: 1. Perry Township Schools will be installing a 20’ band tower on the east side of Perry Meridian High School’s parking lot.   The scope of the work includes but is not limited to: 1. Fabrication and delivery of band tower, model Summit 20 from Educational Steel Products 765-534-4092 www.fieldtowers.com or other approved alternate. Requests for substitution of the specified product must be submitted in writing no later than _5_ days prior to the bid date. Substitutions will be reviewed for compliance with the project requirements, and any approved substitutions will be issued by addendum. 2. Installation of prefabricated band tower and installation of concrete slab per the tower manufacturer’s design with rebar(not provided) and foundation mounting hardware(provided with the tower). 3. Installer shall install the foundation according to the tower manufacturer’s specifications. 4. Installer is responsible for any necessary permitting required by the city of Indianapolis.   Specifications are on file in the Director of Facilities Office at 1319 West Edgewood Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46217. To obtain the specifications, interested parties can pick them up at the above mentioned address or request them via email from Mr. Kirby Schott at kschott@perryschools.org. A walk through and site visit may be arranged by contacting Mr. Kirby Schott at 317-789-6211.   Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid (or combination of Bids) and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
