RESOLUTION NO. 2026-R-16
A RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE AND PRO-VIDING FOR NOTICE OF A HEARING BEFORE THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HUTCHINSON, KANSAS, AT WHICH TIME THE OWNERS, THEIR AGENTS, LIENHOLDERS OF RECORD AND OCCUPANTS OF THE STRUCTURES LO-CATED IN SAID CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED MAY APPEAR AND SHOW JUST CAUSE WHY SUCH STRUCTURES SHOULD NOT BE CONDEMNED AND ORDERED REPAIRED OR DEMOLISHED AS DANGEROUS OR UNSAFE STRUCTURES.
WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Hutchinson has found that the structure(s) on the properties described are in disrepair and are unsafe and dangerous; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF HUTCHINSON, KANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. A hearing will be held on the 16th day of June 2026 at 5:30 pm in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 125 East Avenue B, Hutchinson, Kansas, at which time the owners, the agents, lienholders of record, and occupants of the structures located on the following described property may appear and show cause why the structures should not be condemned and ordered repaired or demolished.
1. 3405 E 4th Avenue – Lot 5, Block 1, The Eaton Addition, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas; more commonly de-scribed as 3405 E 4th Avenue, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall cause this Resolution to be published once each week for two consecutive weeks on the same day of each week, and shall otherwise give notice for such hearing in the manner provided by K.S.A 12-1750. Et seq.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption.
