NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that there has been duly presented to the Chemung County Legislature on the 11th day of May 2026, Introductory Local Law No. 2 for the Year 2026 entitled "A Local Law providing for the County of Chemung opting not to establish a registration system for short-term rental units pursuant to Section 447-C of the New York State Real Property Law". Said Local Law is subject to a public hearing before the County Executive. A copy of this Local Law is on file with the Clerk of the Chemung County Legislature and may be viewed in that office during regular business hours at the Hazlett Building, 5th floor, 203 Lake Street, Elmira New York.
