NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Silver Valley Unified School District (“District”), pursuant to its Administrative Regulation on Alternative Bid Procedures for Technological Supplies and Equipment and California Public Contract Code § 20118.2, invites qualified vendors to submit
proposals for the furnishing, installation, and integration of SVHS Campus Wide Security
Camera System.
Request for Proposals are being accepted for:
SILVER VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
BID 20260210-01 – SVHS Campus Wide Security Camera System
This project includes the provision of electronic surveillance equipment and related services necessary to deliver a fully operational and expandable digital video security system. Installation activities are limited in nature and include mounting, minor wall penetrations, connection to
existing network infrastructure, and system configuration required to render the system
operational.
This procurement utilizes a competitive negotiation process for technological equipment and services, considering factors beyond price such as system performance, reliability,
standardization, licensing, scalability, life-cycle costs, integration capabilities, vendor qualifications, installation approach, and ongoing support.
All work performed under this contract shall be subject to California prevailing wage requirements, and all contractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as required by law.
Proposals must be received no later than June 2, 2026 @ 1:00PM (any proposal received after this deadline will be rejected). Submit sealed proposals in an envelope clearly labeled:

Note: Due to the District’s rural location, use FedEx or UPS only; USPS will not deliver to this address. To ensure bids are received on time, in-person delivery is recommended. The District is not responsible for mailed packages that are received on District premises and not
delivered to the designated recipient. Mark all packages “Urgent Delivery”.
A mandatory job walk will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 @ 1:00PM. Location is Silver Valley HS, 35484 Daggett-Yermo Road, Yermo, CA 92398. Meet on concrete area just outside of the school office. Late arrivals will not be allowed. Any contractor that submits a bid and did not attend the mandatory job walk will have their bid returned unopened.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to cancel this RFP, or to waive any irregularities.
