§ 300-6.6 Special Permit for Large-Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installation
The Upton Planning Board will hold a public hearing in Town Hall room G07 and remotely via Teams on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, on the following:
7:45 pm Application for Large-Scale Ground-Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Installation Special Permit titled “Sawmill Brook Site Plans” to construct a solar farm. Filed by owner/applicant, Rick Morrell of Morrell Construction. Property is 66.5 acres located at 0 Sawmill Brook Lane (formerly 169 South Street) in Upton, MA. Assessor’s Map 31/Lot 001.
Copies of the applications will be available for review at: https://www.uptonma.gov/437/Planning-Board. Materials are also available at both the Town Clerk’s office and the Land Use and Inspectional Services office located in Town Hall. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on this application should attend the meeting either in-person or virtually at the designated date & time. Information about remote meeting participation will be available on the agenda to be posted on the Upton website (www.uptonma.gov) prior to the meeting.
