PUBLIC PARTICIPATION   NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AUGUSTA, GEORGIA 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT PROGRAM HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS PROGRAM   In order to fulfill statutory and regulatory requirements mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development with regard to the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, the City of Augusta is required to make available for public comment the 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) which provides the jurisdiction an opportunity to evaluate its overall progress in carrying out priorities and specific objectives identified in its Consolidated Plan and its 2025 Action Plan which included funding allocations for the Community Development Block Grant ($1,686,245), HOME ($903,552.26), ESG ($153,403) and HOPWA ($1,035,806).   The 15-day citizen comment period will extend from:   Sunday, May 3, 2026, through Monday, May 18, 2026   Copies of the full draft 2025 CAPER are available for public review as of Monday, May 4, 2026, at the following location:   Augusta Housing & Community Development Department 510 Fenwick Street Augusta, GA 30901   Written comments concerning the draft 2025 CAPER will be accepted up to 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2026.
