PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on May 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the Land Use Board of the Borough of Ocean Gate will hold a public hearing on the application of George Milo. The hearing will take place in the Ocean Gate Municipal Building, 801 Ocean Gate Avenue, Ocean Gate, New Jersey. The premises which are the subject of the application are located at 35 East Bayview Avenue, Ocean Gate, New Jersey. Said premises are also known as Block 24, Lot 11.
The applicant is seeking Variance approval to construct a 2nd story addition on an existing dwelling. Variances are required for a front yard setback of 14.97 ft. where 15 ft. is required and side yard setback of 6 ft. where 2.86 ft. is proposed. There are also pre-existing variances for minimum lot area, minimum lot width, lot frontage, front yard setback, side yard setback, shed side and rear yard setbacks and pool side yard setback.
The applicant also intends to request at the hearing such density, use and bulk variance and/or waivers of design standards and/or submission requirements as are required to develop the premises in the manner indicated in the application materials, and any other variances or waivers that the Board may require.
Any interested party may appear at the hearing and participate, either in person, by attorney, in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Board. This application, along with all maps, papers and supporting documents filed with the application are on file in the Office of the Board Secretary, 801 Ocean Gate Avenue, Ocean Gate, New Jersey and are available for public inspection.
