Public Notice for Variance Request in Verona Notice Take Notice that an application has been made to the Verona Zoning Board of Adjustment by Anthony Tarrant for 94 Elmwood Road Verona NJ 07044, Block 906, Lot 30 in zone R50B (Medium/High-Density Single Family) Zone District. The applicant is seeking permission to install two new condensers. As per § 150-17.4 D. (4) Maximum improved lot coverage: 40% or 1,654.5 square feet; existing is 42.9% or 1,776 square feet - pre-existing non-conforming condition; proposed is 43.1% or 1784 square feet - exacerbating the pre-existing non-conforming condition - A variance is required. Per § 150-17.4 F. (1) Minimum side yard setback (one); eight feet; units proposed at 3 feet from the NW side property line - A variance is required for each unit. The applicant may also seek any such other variances and waivers that may be required, deemed necessary or requested by the Board with this application. The application has been put on the secretary's calendar and a hearing is scheduled to be held on June 11, 2026 at 7:30pm in the Ball Room of the Verona Community Center located at 880 Bloomfield Avenue. At said hearing, or any adjourned date of the same, you may appear either in person or by counsel and present any objection that you may have to the granting of this application.
