PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Friday, May 8, 2026 the Honorable Darren T. DiBiasi, P.J.Ch. of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, Chancery Division, 10 Main Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601 entered an Order permitting substituted service upon Horizon Fort Lee, LLC and for other relief.
Therefore, by Order of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Bergen County, entered on May 8, 2026, you are hereby notified that a civil action has been instituted against you in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Bergen County, involving the foreclosure of a commercial mortgage. More specifically, Plaintiff Reliance Asset Management, LLC filed a commercial foreclosure action (DOCKET NO.: SWC-F-2694-26) to foreclose any rights Defendant Horizon Fort Lee, LLC may have in the real property commonly known as 2062 Lemoine Avenue, Fort Lee, County of Bergen, New Jersey, also identified as Block 4851.02, Lot 1, on the tax map of the Borough of Fort Lee (the "Mortgaged Property"). The Mortgaged Property is commercial in nature.
The foreclosure action arises out of Defendant Horizon Fort Lee, LLC's failure to repay a loan in the original principal amount of $22,500,000.00, which matured on November 19, 2025. This sum does not include interest and other costs which are also due and owing.
To evidence its indebtedness under the Loan, on November 19, 2024, Defendant Horizon Fort Lee, LLC executed and delivered to Plaintiff Reliance Asset Management, LLC a Mortgage Loan Note (the "Note") in the original principal amount of $22,500,000.00. Under the terms of the Note, the Loan was due in full on November 19, 2025.
You are required to file a written appearance, answer, or other responsive pleading with the Clerk of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, at the following address:
