PUBLIC NOTICE The Town of Duson announces that a public hearing has been called for the purpose of obtaining citizen's comments and opinions along with responding to questions relative to the Town's performance on the Fiscal Year 2023 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant Clearance Program. The meeting is set for Friday, May 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Duson Town Hall. Information regarding the amount of funds expended, a breakdown of the expended funds by activities, and the percentage of funds which benefitted low-to-moderate income persons will be discussed. All citizens, particularly low-to-moderate income persons and residents of slum and blighted areas in the Town are urged to attend this public hearing to express their views towards this recently completed project. Accommodations will be made for handicapped and non-English speaking individuals provided a three-day notice is received. Furthermore, citizens unable to attend this hearing may submit their views to the Town addressed to Mayor Johnny Thibodeaux, Town of Duson, 498 Toby Mouton Road, Duson, Louisiana 70529 within ten days of the hearing.
