NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE
DALLAS COUNTY PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. in the Dallas County Administration Building, Room 1026, located at 800 Court St, Adel, Iowa, a hearing will be held by the Dallas County Planning & Zoning Commission for consideration of the following petitions to-wit:
Item 1: A petition to consider approval of a Re-zone from C-1 (General Commercial) to I-1 (Light Industrial) on Parcel 1129200005, located in the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 29, T79N, R27W (Adel Township) for Tommy Thorpe (Civil Design Advantage, Jon McDonald).
Item 2: A petition to consider approval of A Re-zone from A-1 (Agricultural) to RE-1 (Suburban Estate) on Parcel 0713, located in the of the of Section 13, T80N, R27W (Sugar Grove Township) for Kelvin Morgan & Debra Wyckoff
Item 3: A petition to consider approval of a Re-zone from A-1 (Agricultural) to RE-1 (Suburban Estate) on Parcel 1529400009, located in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 29, T78N, R27W (Van Meter Township) for Lauterbach Family Farms (Lance Lauterbach).
Item 4: A petition to consider approval of a Conditional Use to own livestock on Parcel 0603401002, located in the NW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 03, T80N, R28W (Washington Township) zoned RE-1 (Suburban Estate) for Laura and Matt Mulford.
Item 5: A petition to consider approval of the Preliminary Plat of Painted Prairie subdivision on Parcel 1501100005, located in the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 01, T78N, R27W (Van Meter Township) for Painted Prairie LLC - John Larson; Timothy and Denise Gerdis (Civil Design Advantage).
AT THE ABOVE TIME AND PLACE AN OPPORTUNITY WILL BE GIVEN PROPONENTS AND OPPONENTS OF THE ABOVE PETITION TO BE HEARD.
