LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
TOWN OF PAXTON – ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
HEARINGS OF SPECIAL PERMITS / VARIANCE
On May 28, 2026 at 7pm at the John Bauer Senior Center, 17 West St Paxton MA the Paxton ZBA will hold public hearings, the purpose of which is for the public to be heard relative to the following applications:
1) Joe Haddad of 3807 Knightsbridge Close Worcester MA 01609 has submitted an application to the Paxton Zoning Board of Appeals for a SPECIAL PERMIT for operation of a retail business (3.2.4.1 Use Scheule Business and Services) at 242 Pleasant St. Paxton MA (map 27, lot 117, owner of record Kennan Nominee Trust). The applicant asserts that this business is for landscaping materials supply only, and is registered with the Town.
2) Kerry Dwyer, of 20 Crowningshield Dr. Paxton MA 01612 has submitted an application to the Paxton Zoning Board of Appeals seeking a SPECIAL PERMIT for a retail food business (Paxton Zoning Bylaws 3.2.4.3) at 679 Pleasant St. Paxton MA (map 19, lot 197, owner of record Baltas, Olga Trustee of the Baltas Family Trust). The applicant asserts that the business is an eatery for charcuterie and to-go sandwiches.
3) Timothy J. Lauring of 269 Grove St (Map 18, Lot 107B), Paxton MA 01612 has submitted an application to the Paxton Zoning Board of Appeals seeking a VARIANCE for erection of a 1,911 square-foot detached garage on said property (Paxton Zoning Bylaws Section 3.3.12 Use Regulations Accessory Use). The applicant asserts that the garage is for personal, non-commercial use.
