NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING HERRICK DISTRICT LIBRARY BOARD   Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.   Herrick District Library 300 S. River Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49423   The Herrick District Library Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed library budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 at the Herrick District Library located at 300 S. River Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49423 on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget, including the proposed property tax millage rates, is available for public inspection at the Herrick District Library located at 300 S. River Avenue, Holland, Michigan 49423, during business hours.   The Herrick District Library must hold a public hearing before the final adoption of the budget. Any interested person will be given the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing regarding the proposed budget.   The Herrick District Library Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 3 days’ notice to the Library Board.
