NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to a Final Summary Judgment of Foreclosure dated May 4, 2026, entered in Civil Case No.: 35-2025-CA-002236-AXXX-01 of the Circuit Court of the Fifth Judicial Circuit in and for Lake County, Florida, wherein FEDERAL HOME LOAN MORTGAGE CORPORATION AS TRUSTEE FOR FREDDIE MAC SEASONED CREDIT RISK TRANSFER TRUST, SERIES 2018-2, Plaintiff, and JAMES TANNER JONES;, are Defendants.
I will sell to the highest bidder for cash, on the first floor near the information desk, Lake County Courthouse, Lake County Judicial Center, 550 W. Main Street, Tavares, FL 32778 at 11:00 AM, on the day of June 16, 2026, the following described real property as set forth in said Final Summary Judgment, to wit:
LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK A-13, GRIFFIN VILLAGE, HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 12, PAGE 27, PUBLIC RECORDS OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
If you are a person claiming a right to funds remaining after the sale, you must file a claim with the clerk before the clerk reports the surplus as unclaimed. If you fail to file a timely claim you will not be entitled to any remaining funds. After the funds are reported as unclaimed, only the owner of record as of the date of the Lis Pendens may claim the surplus.
