William Brodie Carver, PLAINTIFF vs. the Estate of Sandra Lee Wilson; Gregory M. Wilson; Dawn Renee Perkins; Shelly Louise Ward and JOHN DOE, a fictitious name constituting and representing all unknown heirs-at-law, legatees, devisees, grantees, assignees and lien creditors of the above named, should they be deceased, and RICHARD ROE, a fictitious name representing any and all Persons and entities unknown who may be minors or suffering under any legal disability or persons in the armed services of the United States and all other persons unknown claiming any right, title, interest or estate in or lien upon that certain parcel of land designated as Aiken County TMS # 257-00-14-008. SUMMONS
TO THE DEFENDANT(S) ABOVE NAMED:
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED and required to answer the Complaint in the above entitled action, copy of which is herewith served upon you, and to serve copy of your answer upon the undersigned at his office, 210 Colony Parkway, SE, Aiken, South Carolina 29803, within thirty
(30) days of the service hereof upon you, exclusive of the day of such service, and if you fail to answer as aforesaid the Plaintiff herein will apply to the Court for the relief prayed for in the Complaint and judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the Complaint. NOTICE is hereby given that the Complaint in the foregoing action, together with the Summons, of which the foregoing is a copy, was filed in the Office of the Clerk of Court for Aiken County, on the 20th day of February, 2026. NOTICE TO MINOR DEFENDANTS, and to the persons with whom they reside, and to all Defendants laboring under any legal disability, or persons in the Military Service herein designated by the name of Richard Roe and to the general or testamentary guardian or guardians, if any: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that you, and each of you, are hereby required to have a Guardian ad Litem appointed to represent your interest in the above-entitled action within thirty (30) days after the service of this notice upon you, exclusive of the day of such service; and in case you fail to have such Guardian ad Litem appointed within said time, the Plaintiff will apply to the Court for the appointment of such Guardian ad Litem to represent your interest in this suit.
NOTICE OF PENDENCY OF ACTION
Notice is hereby given that an action has been commenced and is now pending in the Court upon the Complaint of the above-named Plaintiffs, against the above-named Defendants, for the purpose of Clearing Tax Title of real estate hereinafter described, which, at the time of the commencement of this action, and at the time of filing of this Notice, was situated in Aiken County, South Carolina. Said real estate being described as follows, to-wit: All that certain piece, parcel or tract of land, with any improvements thereon, situate, lying and being more particularly described as follows: All that certain tract of land, containing a total of 5.0 acres, more or less, situate, lying and being in Deerfield I Residential Development, located in Aiken County, South Carolina, and shown as Lot 54 upon a plat prepared by CSRA Consulting Engineers, recorded June 15, 1977, and titles survey for William Moore, recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 158, in the Aiken County RMC Office. Reference is made to aforesaid plat for a more complete description as to metes, bounds and exact location of subject property. Tax Parcel No.: 257-00-14-008.
ORDER OF PUBLICATION
It appearing to my satisfaction from the Affidavit of Plaintiffs attorney that the Summons and Complaint in the above entitled action, which has been commenced and is now pending in this Court, could not be served on all the Defendant(s) named herein, and that Plaintiffs attorney has made a diligent search to locate said Defendant(s) for the purpose of effecting service of the Summons in this action. IT IS ORDERED that service of the Summons in this action be made on the Estate of Sandra Lee Wilson; Gregory M. Wilson; Dawn Renee Perkins; Shelly Louise Ward, John Doe and Richard Roe by the publication thereof in The Augusta Chronicle, a newspaper of general circulation published in the County of Aiken, once a week for three (3) consecutive weeks, and that a copy of the Summons and Complaint be mailed to the last known address of the Defendants.
